WOMAD adds more global stars

The 20th anniversary celebrations for this year’s WOMADelaide just got a lot more spectacular with today’s third and final line-up announcement.

Some of the 20 global music stars added to the four-day March world music festival include dub legend Mad Professor (pictured), West African Baaba Maal, Joe Bataan as well as Australia’s raw violin-led instrumental trio Dirty Three and Neil Finn’s new band Pajama Club. The newly added artists join headliners Chic, Dobet Gnahore, Bonobo, Blue King Brown and Gurrumul.
WOMADelaide will be held at Botanic Park from Fri Mar 9 to Mon Mar 12. For more information head to womadelaide.com.au.
