Maya Kolega exhibition

January 2013

Are you mesmerised by the fabulous talent of our young local artists?

The Gallery on Waymouth certainly is and is enhancing its reputation as a major pusher of new exciting talent with Maya Kolega’s magic gracing its walls for three weeks from Wednesday, January 9.

A natural flair for anything creative, Maya captures the obscure and remarkable elements of human life with her photographic, painting and drawing skills. A love of the unexpected and passion for creativity is obvious when you stand in front of the art works Maya has created.

The exhibition sports a theme full of bold colour use as well as portraiture with a dash of surrealism; key elements very close to Maya’s creative soul.

Extremely excited about the opening night, Maya encourages all art lovers to come and enjoy it with her.

“It’s a great chance for family, friends and everyone who wants to come along and see a few of my favourite pieces!”

The exhibition will officially open at 6pm on Wednesday, January 9 at the Gallery on Waymouth and will exhibit for three weeks, closing on Saturday, February 2.
