Wining and dining in Adelaide’s East End

Formerly part of the Adelaide Food and Wine Festival, East End Wine Down is back again this year to celebrate locally-made wine and urban street food.

Popping up on Sunday, March 29 on Vardon Avenue, the Wine Down features local winemakers including d’Arenberg, Wirra Wirra, Dandelion Vineyards, Two Hands, SC Pannell and Ministry of Clouds.

From noon ‘til 5pm, a mix of wine, music and all things East End will see the Wine Down house more than 500 people, aiming to provide a relaxing atmosphere and educate punters about the different tastes of wines available at the end of the vintage season.

Local business East End Cellars, who opted to continue the event this year, hopes that budding wine connoisseurs can experience the flavours of South Australian wine while conversing and meeting with the winemakers themselves.

DJs JD and Mike will provide music throughout the day and street food from Golden Boy, Africola, Mother Vine and The Tasting Room will be on site with vegan and vegetarian options available.

Tickets are $30 and are available through Eventbrite.com, or $35 on the door.
