    Australian Dance Awards Saturday, September 12 Her Majesty’s Theatre The annual Australian Dance Awards have toured Australia since their initial conceptualisation in 1986. In 2015, Adelaide will play host to the awards ceremony at Her Majesty’s Theatre on Saturday, September 12. Presented by Ausdance SA and Harlequin Floors, in Association with Adelaide Festival Centre, the night will honor and recognise dance companies, schools, artists and professional who have made an outstanding contribution to Australian Dance. Award night performances include pieces from Australian Dance Theatre, Dance North, Restless Dance Theatre and works by Leigh Warren and Elizabeth Cameron Dalman.   Trinity Sessions presents Jess Ribeiro with Koral and the Goodbye Horses Saturday, September 12 Trinity Sessions, 318 Goodwood Rd To celebrate the release of Kill it Yourself, the anticipated second album from Jess Riberio and band The Bone Collectors, Trinity Sessions presents Ribeiro in intimate mode. Supporting Ribeiro are Koral and the Goodbye Horse, who have recently released a new EP, Nocturnes.   The Cripple of Inishmann Thursday, September 3 to Saturday, September 12 Arts Theatre The Adelaide Repertory Theatre brings a true black Irish comedy to Adelaide’s Arts Theatre. A tragicomedy about life on Ireland’s desolate Aran Islands, the plot centres on Cripple Billy and his reoccurring thought “How the hell can I get away from Inishmaan?” It appears his one true wish may be granted when a Hollywood director arrives on a neighbouring island to film Man of Aran. If only Billy can find a way across to Inishmore. Mark-Yusef-Wilson Chihuahua Bar Live music on Thursdays and Sundays Adelaide’s Chihuahua Bar announces the addition of two free live music nights into their regular roster. Music lovers can now enjoy the sounds of smooth tunes of live Jazz every Thursday night, brought to you by acclaimed musician James Muller and his band. Get your dancing shoes out every second Sunday of the month with DJ Mark Yusef Wilson who hits the decks to create the perfect distraction from the week ahead.
