Ben Folds Australian Orchestra Tour

The singer/songwriter will team up with state symphonies in late 2014.

This November and December singer and songwriter Ben Folds will team up with symphony orchestras from across the country to deliver the 2014 Ben Folds’ Orchestra Tour. Audiences will be treated to unique renditions of Folds’ music performed by the man himself accompanied by a live orchestra. Taking in nine stops nationwide, the tour will see Folds will join aural forces with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra on Friday, December 5. Conducting the ASO at the Adelaide Festival Theatre will be Nicholas Buc. Known for his high-energy showmanship, Folds’ 2014 tour will feature orchestral versions of hits from his illustrious pop songbook. It will also include excerpts from his critically acclaimed new Concerto for Piano and Orchestra, composed specifically for this global symphonic tour.
