Bill Bailey Announces 2014 Australian Tour

Funny man Bill Bailey is bringing his retreating hair and Little Book of Calm to Australian shores this October.

Funny man Bill Bailey is bringing his retreating hair and Little Book of Calm to Australian shores this October. The actor, musician and comedian will treat national audiences to the world premiere of his new show, Limboland, which looks at the perception gap between how our lives really are – and how we imagine them to be. Through a catastrophic trip to Norway to see the Northern Lights, Bailey will examine how he came to be in “Limboland”. The live experience will be doubled with a musical element, naturally, with the press release listing Bailey’s version of the protest song, a country/western ballad played on a Bible and a downbeat take on Happy Birthday among the musical numbers. Aside from Black Books, Nevermind the Buzzcocks and QI, Bailey has ventured into the David Attenborough world of documentary-making, with his award-winning program Jungle Hero. 2014 promises more TV from Bailey and his profuction company, Glassbox, but we’ll satisfy ourselves with his stage presence for now.
