They embrace the wit and cheekiness of innuendo in everyday life and then feel compelled to celebrate this “art of the tongue” in a Fringe show.
Becky Blake and Steve Davis see innuendo everywhere, from music to children’s books, from school to wildlife documentaries. After a chance meeting at the 2019 Fringe, they’ve now decided to come together and restore what they call the lost art of innuendo, through fun, clever cheekiness rather than banal vulgarity which has become commonplace.
