Adelaide Roller Derby 2019 Season
Apr 6 - Aug 3$10 – $40
Will the Road Train Rollers exact revenge for their 2018 Grand Final loss, or will the Mile Die Club stamp their authority on the 2019 season? This is sure to be an aggressive grudge match as both teams try to gain momentum to begin the season.
As always, our Lil’ Commie Bastards will be our quick-witted MCs for the night and we’ll have our Local Makers Market full of stalls of locally made creations. The bar will be open; bring a chair, blankets or cushion for your tush, and of course, hot food and drinks will be available to purchase.
There’s also plenty of room behind the track and speakers for the little ones to skate around, just make sure to bring correct safety gear!
The Adelaide Roller Derby was established in 2007 and is Adelaide’s oldest and largest roller derby league. Comprised of approximately 110 members, the league has four home teams, three travel teams, and an amazing team of officials.
The league is a not-for-profit organisation that is owned and operated by skaters, for skaters. Roller Derby is a predominantly female-only, full contact sport. The sport operates on a DIY ethos – the skaters do everything from training plans, event management and merchandising.
Roller Derby across the world is empowering women, building community and creating positive change.
