Jun 14 - 7:00 PM

National Wine Centre of Australia

Let the National Wine Centre of Australia transport you away from wintry Adelaide for one night only on June 14 to the spectacular sunny climes of the wine regions of Spain.

Welcome to the Spanish Bull – the first of the National Wine Centre’s European series of wine dinners.

Executive Chef Steve Clark and Head Sommelier James Boden will indulge your senses with a Spanish-inspired feast, matched with those Spanish varietals that have found themselves a home right here in Australia.

The distinct sound of the flamenco will welcome you as you enjoy a glass of Cava or Spanish Beer before enjoying a fully seated, four-course feast.  Commencing with Pulpo a la Gallega – a traditional octopus delicacy from the north-western region of Spain, continuing with succulent whole-roasted pork, tender chuletón de buey* and finishing with a selection of fine Spanish cheeses and undoubtedly some wonderful ‘sobremesa’**.

Throughout the evening, James will enlighten, entertain and guide you through no less than eight Spanish varietals – from Albarino to Tempranillo – and the Australian wineries that now champion these grapes.

Inspired by all things Spanish: the food, fun and fabulous wines make this an exciting and unique event – one not to be missed.
