Pinot Palooza races back into town

Pinot Palooza returns to Adelaide this August, with an expanded event at Morphettville Racecourse to showcase the very best of Pinot Noir from across Australia and New Zealand.

The pinot-dedicated festival will feature their largest numbers of wines on tasting ever this year – a significant amount of it coming from South Australia. Local names like Vinteloper, Golden Child, Shaw + Smith and Henschke fill the bill alongside interstate and even international names like Tasmania’s Tolpuddle and New Zealander Cloudy Bay.

For those who aren’t as interested in Pinot, there will be other beverages on offer. Debuting at this year’s palooza is BAR VERMOUTH, where punters will be able to taste test some of Australia’s best vermouth offerings. There will also be a wide line up of food to help you get through the day.

Pinot Palooza arrives back on local shores after a successful stint in Japan earlier this year, and now they’ve got their sites on heading State side next year as well.

“Each year this event just keeps getting bigger,” says REVEL director, Dan Sims. “The response in Japan was incredible giving us the confidence to further expand into Hong Kong. We can’t wait to share the pinot love across Australia and New Zealand, the return to Singapore and Hong Kong for the first time this year.”

“Plus, we just locked in a venue for Los Angeles next year with New York following closely behind. Oh, and did we mention Shanghai in 2020? We won’t stop until this is the biggest celebration of Pinot Noir on the planet,” he continues.

All tickets include a PLUMM REDb wine glass to take home. VIP tickets include a glass of bubbles on arrival, plus an extra hour in the venue before the GA ticketholders arrive.
