The Adelaide Review is thrilled to announce the launch of the 2018/19 FORM Innovation Awards. This year marks the second year the awards have been held, and third year of FORM Journal, in which we celebrate the most innovative projects in South Australia across architecture, interior design, landscape, object and graphic design.
We are delighted with the response that last year’s program and publication received and look forward to our broadest and most inclusive awards yet.
This year, we are opening up entries to all designers and design practices (both institute members and non-members) across four categories:
– Built Environment
– Open Spaces and Urban Regeneration
These categories encompass all of the disciplines we love to support. We welcome entries from a wide range of scales, budgets and practices, which have been built within the last 12 months in South Australia.
The judges for this year’s awards are a mix of local, national and international design talent and include: Jordi Pardo (Nartex Barcelona), Jo Cys (Pro Vice Chancellor, UniSA), Brian Parkes (CEO, JamFactory), Josephine Evans (Principal, JPE), Warwick Keates (Co-director, WAX Design) and TV design duo Alyssa and Lysandra Fraser (Winners of The Block, 2013, and now Directors of Alyssa and Lysandra Interiors).
Nine projects will be awarded on the night, one award and one commendation from each category and an overall project of the year. The project of the year winners will receive two return tickets to one of four design destinations; Copenhagen, Barcelona, Milan or Rome, thanks to the generous support of Singapore Airlines.
This year’s projects will be submitted online and will be open to entries until Friday, August 17.
All awards will be announced at the 2018/19 FORM Journal Launch on Thursday, October 18, hosted at MOD, North Terrace. We look forward to seeing your entries.
Entries now open, closing Friday August 17. Enter here.
Judging will take place from Saturday, August 18 to Friday, August 31
