Bird in Hand winery celebrates Fashion Awards 2018

Founder of Bird in Hand winery, Andrew Nugent, hosted a table of A-Listers at the awards. Guests included Victoria and David Beckham, actresses Brooke Shields and Liv Tyler, film directory Gia Coppola, Australian designer and stylist Michelle Jank and Countess of Burlington, Laura Cavendish.

Nugent said of the event: “Last night was a huge celebration and a whole lot of fun with wonderful people. Through wine, food, art and design we love to support creativity and innovation around the world. It gives our team great pleasure to be able to represent and promote South Australia’s world class wines, particularly those from our Adelaide Hills home, to a wider international audience.”

The world-renowned producer of fine wine Bird in Hand are no strangers to aligning themselves with some of the most stylish brands in fashion, food and the arts. In 2016 they teamed up with Australian designer Dion Lee and Italian food writer Silvia Colloca to release their new Italian range of white and red wines. The winery also collaborated with British fashion designer Henry Holland in 2017, to create the Bird in Hand x House of Holland sparkling pinot noir, which guests were served at the Fashion Awards 2018 enjoyed during the sit-down dinner.

Other selections of premium wines at the event included Chardonnay 2017, Sauvignon Blanc 2018 and Two in the Bush Shiraz 2016.

Side note, Kendall Jenner looked breathtaking in that Julien MacDonald gold mesh gown.
