Close to 500 guests welcomed Australia’s newly enthroned Archbishop of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia, His Eminence Archbishop Makarios, at a dinner at Adelaide Oval on Tuesday 3 September as part of his five-day Adelaide tour.
Special guests included Hon Steve Georganas MP, Hon Tom Koutsantonis MP, Mrs Michelle Church CEO of St. Basil’s Homes (SA), and Angela Evans, Mayor of the City of of Charles Sturt.
