As part of the Adelaide Film Festival this Oct 10 – 20 the Showgrounds will be transformed into an outdoor cinema for a double bill spectacular of Grease and horror film Patrick. On Sat Oct 12 the AFF will present a drive-in under the stars, with gates opening at 6pm for fans to watch 1978 musical Grease and a remake of the 1978 classic Patrick. Directed by Mark Hartley and starring Rachel Griffiths and Sharni Vinson, the remake gives a nod to old-school cult horror. The Adelaide Film Festival opens next Thu Oct 10 with the Australian premiere of the SA-filmed Tracks, starring Mia Wasikowska. Tracks kicks off 11 full days of the best Australian and internationally-produced films, which will be seen across a variety of screens including cinema, television, hand-held devices and gallery installations.
