52 Tuesdays and Welcome To Iron Knob were the big winners at the 2014 South Australian Screen Awards, which were handed out at a gala event at the Mercury Cinema last Friday night (May 17).

52 Tuesdays and Welcome To Iron Knob were unsurprisingly the big winners at the 2014 South Australian Screen Awards, which were handed out at a gala event at the Mercury Cinema last Friday night (May 17). Sophie Hyde’s 52 Tuesdays took home the $3,000-prize for Best Feature Film, while David Wade’s short comedy Welcome To Iron Knob nabbed five awards, including Best Short Film. Other winners included Nathan March’s documentary Living On Country – Irrunytju, Aaron Schuppan’s short Pale Blue Dot and the ‘80s-inspired music video for Adelaide punk band’s I Think I Might Be Dying / Vision. The full list of winners can be found below. All nominated films are now screening in a mini film festival, Best of SASA Screenings, at the Mercury Cinema until Sunday May 25.
