Hot 100 Wines 2017/18 Awards and Magazine Ready for Launch

Unique in the world of wine shows and now in its 11th year, Hot 100 Wines South Australia is ready to announce this season’s winning wines.

After weeks of deliberation from the Hot 100 Wines judges, blind tastings and more than 1300 entries into the competition, the winning wines will be crowned alongside the launch of the latest edition of the Hot 100 Wines magazine.

With each and every one of the top 100 bottles categorised into drinking styles, delicious paired recipes from South Australia’s best chefs, individual design awards and insight from local intellectual and industry figures, the latest edition of Hot 100 Wines is a solid guide for what to drink and what’s happening in our wine world right now.

The evening at the Old Regent Cinema will be part awards night, part wine tasting event, part magazine launch and part party. Nine bars will stock a selection of this year’s most drinkable wines alongside delicious South Australian food from the likes of Woodside Cheese Wrights, Barossa Fine Foods, Steven Ter Horst, Warndu, Harris Smokehouse and The Lost Loaf, all to the tune of the Messin’ Around DJs, Troy J Been and Anth Wendt.

Meanwhile, the inaugural Drink Dine Design bar from JamFactory, Grieve Gillett Andersen, Applewood Distillery and Cape Grim will be on display. A spectacularly designed vertical cylinder, the Drink Dine Design bar brings all the best of local hospitality together in one space.

Another highlight of the night will be art and plant installations from A.Nouk Style throughout the venue.

The $45 + booking fee price of admission will give guests wine tastings, produce tastings, live music, an afterparty and, of course, the latest edition of the Hot 100 Wines South Australia magazine.
