“Poco” means “a little or not much” in Italian, a fitting name for this range o minimalist pin lever handle tapware by Gareth Ashton.
According to Jon Pysing from Rawsos, the advantages of this style include very precise user control and temperature accuracy.
“This style is also easy to keep clean with less surface area for soap or water to leave marks.
“The lever style is also easy to operate with one hand, so perfect for parents with young children who are usually trying to do two things at once.”
The Poco range has embraced the global trend towards coloured tapware with many
finishes available.
“Colours are being driven by the move away from traditional chrome, enhancing a more contemporary design and giving designers better options to combine with the many surfaces now available to use in the bathroom,” says Pysing.
Traditional chrome is still available in the range, as well as other finishes such as black, brushed nickel, brushed brass and gun metal, achieved using eco-friendly technologies such as PVD and backed by a 15-year warranty.
The minimalistic handle and thin cylinder lend an almost industrial-style elegance to this range, ensuring a sense of timelessness and a design choice that will endure for many years into the future with all accessories included, from toilet roll holders and robe hooks to towel rails and rings.
The tapware options allow for mounting on either the vanity or on the wall, offering designers and homeowners ultimate flexibility with their design choices. Shower systems are available as both an overhead rain shower or a handheld shower head piece on an adjustable height rail.
