New generation of technology arrives for the new year

There is nothing like hosting a family Christmas at home to convince us of the need for a kitchen update and Miele have released a new range of products that will make sure the next version of your kitchen is fully equipped with the latest cooking technology.

In October Miele launched its Generation 7000 Built-in range to the Australian market. The 138 products feature some never-before-seen technology across ovens, speed ovens, coffee machines and steam appliances including greatly enhanced connectivity and clear, easy-to-use commands.

Michele Laghezza, Marketing Director, Miele Australia and New Zealand said the Generation 7000 range has been specifically designed to make everything in the kitchen seamless.

“Following more than five years of intensive research and development – this is the biggest launch in our 120-year history and this constant innovation is a true testament to our guiding ‘Immer Besser – Forever Better’ philosophy.

“By putting our user experience at the very heart of the design – cooking has never been more intuitive. Category-leading technology means the Generation 7000 range guarantees the perfect results people have come to expect from our cutting-edge appliances,” said Michele.

Some of the new functions include:

Taste Control –Automatically opening the oven door once cooking is finished to enable rapid cooling before switching to warming mode

Food View – An in-oven camera viewable via the Miele@ mobile app allowing for remote cooking temperature and time adjustments

MotionReact – Motion-detecting technology to bring to life displays when appliance is approached

DualSteam – Maintains uniform temperate and humidity throughout the oven, with extreme accuracy levels to the 1ºC

AutoClean and AutoDescale –
Self cleanin cartridges allow selected Generation 7000 coffee machines to automatically descale and degrease brew units and clean milk lines

The Miele@mobile app also allows access to more than 1,000 recipes to keep the inspiration flowing once the new kitchen is in place.

State-of-the-art technology means software updates for Generation 7000 can be downloaded with ease, ensuring Miele appliances are always up to date.
