The biennial awards, run by Arts South Australia, were announced in a special ceremony at Adelaide Writers’ Week.
The awards were attended by His Excellency Hieu Van Le the Governor of South Australia and Mrs Le, Premier and Minister for Arts Jay Weatherill and wife Melissa Bailey, Arts South Australia Executive Director Peter Louca, Writers’ Week Director Laura Kroetsch, and shortlisted and winning authors from around Australia including Tim Winton, Eva Hornung and more.
The ceremony was followed by a VIP function in the Torrens Parade Ground Drill Hall with wines by Artwine and catering by Let Them Eat.
