Throughout January South Australia’s backyard music series The Porch Sessions went national. Founder Sharni Honor shares some of the best views from the nation’s verandas.
“A group of local Adelaide folk packed up three vans and a trailer full of Persian rugs and hit the road for a three week tour of four states,” Honor says. “Beginning in Queensland, our series of travelling festivals transformed 11 porches between the Gold Coast Hinterland and Normanville, South Australia, all camping on the road in between building shows. Together with an incredible line up of Jack The Fox, Harrison Storm and Alana Wilkinson, it was one glorious adventure to remember.”
