Thievery Corporation’s The Temple of I & I explored Jamaican musical styles

The group was founded 21 years ago when Hilton and Garza bonded over a mutual love of bossa nova, jazz and dub music. Since then, their diverse output has covered and blended these genres together, along with hip hop, reggae, electronica, Indian classical music and Middle Eastern tunes.

They have headlined major festivals including Lollapalooza and Coachella, and collaborated with a diverse array of the world’s artists, such as Femi Kuti, Seu Jorge and Anoushka Shankar (who is also on the bill for WOMADeladie 2018).

WOMADelaide’s full lineup will be announced on November 21. The lineup thus far is as below.
